On February 22nd, the 2024 Annual Technology Conference of TIANS was grandly held in the Yue Zongli Conference Room. This conference adopted a combined "online + offline" approach, with nearly 30 participants including members of the TIANS Science and Technology Committee and representatives of scientific and technological workers from various business divisions. The meeting summarized and analyzed the technological innovation achievements of 2023, clarified the key directions of scientific and technological work for 2024, and helped TIANS build an engineering design group that empowers the industrialization of new technologies.

TIANS holds the 2024 Technology Conference

The conference was chaired by Zhao Yanjun, Minister of the Science and Technology Development Department and Secretary-General of the Science and Technology Committee. At the beginning of the conference, Dr. Chen Ping, Director, Chief Technology Officer of TIANS Group, and Vice Chairman of the Science and Technology Committee, delivered the "2023 Annual Science and Technology Work Report of TIANS Group". He pointed out that 2023 was a year of systematic progress in technology and a year with extremely prominent results in scientific and technological achievements. The R&D of complete sets of technology and equipment for the full-process advanced treatment and resource utilization of high-COD and high-salt pharmaceutical wastewater, the development and engineering application of key technologies for the degradation of residual drugs in wastewater, and the complete sets of automatic energy-saving continuous sterilization systems and equipment were successively rated as domestically leading achievements. Good results were achieved in terms of scientific research projects, intellectual property rights, and achievement evaluation, with 18 Science and Technology Progress Awards and 16 Patent Awards selected. In 2024, facing a more flexible and changeable market, we need to transform our positioning, empower TIANS's new brand positioning, and accelerate the promotion of technological innovation work. All technical departments should do a good job in technical accumulation and technical evaluation of "first-time" applications, and strive to build a technology sharing platform.

Subsequently, representatives of the leading members of the Science and Technology Committee of TIANS Group awarded prizes to the representatives of the winners of the TIANS Science and Technology Progress Award and the TIANS Patent Award. The participating scientific and technological workers, based on their own work practices, systematically put forward thoughts and suggestions on promoting TIANS's scientific and technological work in the future from multiple aspects such as focusing on customer needs, consolidating the foundation of technological innovation, technology marketing, innovation priorities, and management standardization.

At the end of the conference, Wang Jing, Chief Scientist of TIANS Group and Chairman of the Science and Technology Committee, made a summary. She pointed out that technological innovation in 2023 continuously enhanced TIANS's brand effect and market influence. Behind this, a good corporate culture and a service philosophy that exceeds customer expectations are the core elements driving the development of the company's technological innovation work. Facing the arrival of 2024, we have focused on three major directions: in the field of fine chemicals, we should "achieve and do well"; in the field of synthetic biology, we should "refine and strengthen"; in the fields of automation, informatization and intelligent equipment, we should "optimize and expand".
