Recently, the national standard "Technical Specifications for Cell Culture Operations in Cleanrooms and Controlled Environments" (GB/T 43459-2023), which TIANS participated in formulating, has been released by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China. It will be officially implemented on July 1, 2024. Song Xiaohui, director and vice president of TIANS Group and an expert in biotechnology industrialization, participated in the compilation and drafting, laying a solid foundation for the standardized operation of cell culture technology and its application in multiple fields.

The national standard "Technical Specifications for Cell Culture Operations in Cleanrooms and Controlled Environments" compiled with the participation of TIANS is about to be officially implemented

This standard provides detailed regulations on the environmental guarantees for cell culture and the requirements for different steps of cell culture from preparation, isolation, purification, subculture and expansion, cryopreservation to recovery. It is conducive to managing and standardizing the good operating environment of cleanrooms and the implementation by operators, ensuring the quality of cell culture.

As an engineering design group empowering the industrialization of new technologies, TIANS has been committed to participating in the construction of standards and specifications in related fields. It has participated in the compilation of many national and local standards in the cleanroom field, such as "Cleanrooms and Associated Controlled Environments - Part 1: Classification of Air Cleanliness by Particle Concentration", "Cleanrooms and Associated Controlled Environments - Part 2: Classification of Clean Air Cleanliness by Evidence from Particle Concentration Measurements", and "Construction and Acceptance Standards for Clean Workshops in the Pharmaceutical Industry". In addition, TIANS has also obtained the title of member unit of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Cleanrooms and Associated Controlled Environments (SAC/TC319), and has become a flag and benchmark in the purification industry.
