TIANS helps the Jiangning Biology Project, the first large-scale synthetic biological raw material production base in China, to be implemented

On March 25th, with the official commissioning of the 5-hydroxytryptophan production line, all major product lines of Phase I of the Yili Jiangning Biological Green Circular Economy Industrial Park Project (hereinafter referred to as the "Jiangning Biological Project") have been completed. The project will achieve an annual output of 300 tons of bisabolol and 300 tons of 5-hydroxytryptophan. Meanwhile, through flexible production, it can produce salidroside and more than a dozen other niche products, making it the country's first large-scale synthetic biological raw material production base.

Yili Jiangning Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangning Biology") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kelun Group · Yili Chuanning Biotechnology Co., Ltd. It is expected to have a total investment of 1 billion rmb and cover an area of 591.73 acres. It focuses on producing series of products such as high-end daily chemicals, nutritional health products, animal protection and plant protection products, biological new materials, and characteristic pharmaceuticals. TIANS is mainly responsible for the engineering construction of the two production lines of bisabolol and 5-hydroxytryptophan, helping it achieve a leap in synthetic biology industrialization and start a new production model that is greener, safer, and more advanced.

Process Re-optimization, Comprehensive Value Manifestation
During the project construction, TIANS process technology experts conducted a detailed analysis of the existing process design flow and put forward reasonable suggestions on the pipeline direction, equipment layout, pipeline materials, and process routes in the workshop, helping the owner significantly reduce construction costs and optimize the production process. This makes the workshop's process flow more reasonable and the operation more convenient, thereby achieving better economic benefits and market competitiveness.

Digital Delivery, Blueprint at a Glance
In the early stage of the project, TIANS gave full play to its "design + BIM" dual-drive model. Through BIM drawing optimization, it realized the visualization of the construction site, enabling engineering construction personnel to intuitively understand the design scheme and intent, thus greatly improving the project's management capabilities and communication efficiency. At the same time, TIANS also made full use of the functions of model integration, real-time demonstration, and conflict detection of the Navisworks platform to predict potential problems of the project, adjust the progress plan in real-time, provide a decision-making basis for formulating accurate personnel, material, and machine tool plans for construction, and provide strong data support for project management. During the construction process, TIANS utilized its T-EPC advantages, overcame many challenges such as high-density cross-operation and severe cold through scientific management, ensured the project proceeded as planned, and helped it achieve a successful one-time trial production.

Fully Automatic Sterilization, High Efficiency at Your Fingertips
Continuous fermentation technology has also attracted much attention in recent years as one of the key strategies to achieve efficient biological production processes. In the Jiangning Biological Project, TIANS realized automatic sterilization in the fermentation process through its independently developed intelligent instantaneous continuous sterilization equipment, ensuring a sterility rate of up to 99.99%, significantly saving energy consumption, and remarkably improving energy utilization efficiency. It practices the concept of intelligent and green production with its own actions.
